Kevin hurried up to his room and shut the door. He jumped onto his bed and pulled his laptop over, letting his fingers press down on the familiar letters that they had typed in so many times before. He felt his heart pumping faster and faster as he waited for Daniel's Facebook page to finish loading. And when it finally did, it felt like a million doves burst out of his chest, or that he had just let loose a very satisfying fart that he had been holding in all day. Except it was even better than that. It was like, like a fart from his heart.
And the reason this time was so much more special than all the other times was because: this time, there was one thing different.
Kevin felt his heart thumping faster and faster as the bottom of his laptop grew warmer and warmer on his lap. Was that why he was feeling so hot right now? He anxiously clicked on the photos, the 519 photos, that Kevin had been waiting so long to see.
Some made him laugh.
Some made him cry.
But with each photo he looked at, Kevin knew that he was falling more and more in love. Finally, Kevin saw one photo that made his breath catch. His eyes wide open, he swallowed hard and clicked to enlarge it. And once he was looking straight at the picture full-screen, Kevin managed to sputter out one word.
